This 15-part series begins with an historical introduction to the area now known as Woodbrook.

Located on the north-western peninsula of the Caribbean island of Trinidad, Woodbrook was part of a large, strategically positioned Native village called Cumucurapo before the arrival of Columbus and the subsequent Spanish invasion of the island.
